Where are we going in 2025 and beyond?

August 2025-our first trip for Bikexplore is ‘Penrith-Heart of Cumbria’ for a long weekend.
October 2025 we’re going to The Trough of Bowland based in Lancaster.
2026- planning to do the Welsh end to end from Cardiff to Holyhead following the Sustrans route.

Our experience and style
What to expect

Our Tour Leading Style
As two of us will be leading one will be looking after the slower riders, I’m relaxed about people making their own way if they prefer and stopping for points of interest, we don’t use a support vehicle, preferring independent travel. We try to seek out the quiet scenic roads to find the best route, usually staying in B&B’s or hostels when in the UK.

Where have we been?

In 2024 we’ve been to the French Pyrenees cycling from Biarritz to Carcassonne and been round Arran, Argyll and Bute.

In 2023 we did a tour of Southern Tuscany

In 2022 we toured in Northern Spain and the Picos mountains.
